Out of curiosity why do you need an image of the lid? Wouldn't you just need the dimensions?
After installing windows 7, it seems that a similar issue exists (audio just doesn't sound right, especially the high and low ends of the spectrum for music). This seems to suggest that it's a...

Have you tried going into the Skype video preferences to see if it shows up in there?
At what point is the computer frozen at?
That's quite an odd problem. What kind of graphics card is in your machine? Have you run any other operating systems on it, and if so does the problem exist in those as well?
I'm not sure about the second issue, but sometimes for the browser you have to manually go into preferred applications and set it there in order for it really to take effect.

You can try to fix GRUB using something like this.

That means it can't find the packages for natty at the ppa, i.e., the ppa maintainers haven't updated it for natty yet.
If you want to install the packages for maverick from the ppa and avoid the...
Have you tried this guide?
It's a nifty feature for starting applications quickly if you know at least part of the name. It's how I launch pretty much everything. OMG Ubuntu! has a pretty good guide in my opinion.
The problem with sharing the /home/(username) directory is that there are many hidden configuration directories in there that will not mix well with the two distros. If you just want to share media...
