Good news. I'll try as soon as I have a moment.
Are you saying that Lucid Lynx is working on your T91 ?
I though the gma drivers didn't exist for Xorg 1.7, shipped with 10.04 ?
Did try to get the iegd drivers ? So far, I can't get my hands on it.
I heard someone manage to make moblin work on a GMA500.
There's still hope.
No PSB support with the Xorg shipped with Lucid...
thank you !
it's a bit harder than i though.
I'll follow the instructions.
I think my antenna is unplugged.
I need to open the T91. I can't find any how-to in the net.
Does anyone have any idea how I should procede ? (not need to say very very carefully):P
You may talk about easystroke.
The basic function is to trigger an action (keystroke, launch command, ...) when you draw a given pattern on the screen.
Let me give you an example.
I'm not using...
I though evtouch did not work for the MT...
EDIT : forgot the "not" part.
Thanks, but you offer nothing new. We already had these.;)
And even more, actually.
Netbook-naucher freezes after hibernate/suspend. Do you have anything about that ?
yes, i have the same suspend/hibernate issue.
Then reboot
To calibrate touchscreen, do it with no X launched.
I've heard sonething different.
NB : eeebuntu is not based on Karmic.
Currently using NBR, with the the how-to from above. No X crash, or freeze so far.
It's ok here with ext4.
Can you be more specific about the issue on SSD with ext4 ?
Touchscreen works just fine, once the xserver-xorg-input-evtouch is installed.
The only reason to keep Windows, is that you "want" it :D
Last Update : I have no more crash at all since upgrading...

This one is good.
The problems encountered are either :
* little ones (hibernate issue)
* not depending on ubuntu (psb driver issue)
I think the sound problem can be easily corrected.
I've dropped the idea of getting Moblin working, for now.
Following the previous how-to, i've installed Karmic NR. It works great but :
* Sometimes the sound stops working.
* H264 videos are...
I've upgraded the jaunty I had in dual boot to karmic. Good News, mutter starts quite well. But, the moblin applications (myZone, ...) are not available. I found a ppa from a "Moblin Hackers team". ...
I found that Intel was not the designer of the GMA 500. It was bought, by Intel, but not designed. They use the "historical" drivers made by the designers. This is why the current driver is "not too...
With this option off, the X does not crash anymore because the session does not completly start. It stops with a black screen, with the b&w mouse cursor (functionning).
I think compositing is...
No luck.
Thinking about it, compiz and Mutter may use the same functions (3D accel), but they are different softwares.
I guess not.
I check in "system->pref->appearances". It is written "compiz is not installed".
Maybe I should try this one, and modify the WHITELIST variable.
I's worth the try.
Just finished the installation of karmic beta, moblin remix.
Using your instructions. (Thx again!!)
It seems ok but :
This section makes Xorg crashes when mutter (moblin interace) starts
I...
Great how-to. Thx.
There is 2 Ubuntu Moblin editions (actually 3)
* by Dell, based on jaunty, with a different kernel
* By Ubuntu, based on karmic (no need to say warning : "beta")
I think,...
