I am upgrading from 13.10 to 14.04 64 bit. Started the upgrade software. Downloaded all required packages and then came with an error message that the Xscreensaver and Xlock had to be restarted....

I reinstalled the 5 packages now (doesn't harm) and indeed now the files should be in good state. Thanks for all the help.

I have a problem with a backup script on a Hardy 32 thin-client-server with rdiff-backup 1.1.5 as well as 1.1.15.

A simple script like this

I have no clue why suddenly my shell scripts are no executed any more in crontab.
