Oddly enough, I did a reinstall and this appears to have fixed my suspend issue. I don't know how or why. If I figure it out or it happens again, I'll update...

Have anyone experimented with inverting the scroll direction as per the new default in Mac OSX Lion? I had gotten used to this little change (the only thing about OSX Lion I found more intuitive).

Edit ~/.Xmodmap and change the following line (note 5 and 6 are permuted):

For some reason the "Natural Scrolling" is enabled by default with my install. I didn't have to do anything special to get it to do it...

FYI
I just finished doing a 12.04 upgrade on my 4,1 using the mac amd64 daily iso
Early days - but everything just works with no tweaks scripts etc.
Only thing I can note that is - no click drag out of the box.
Video ok
Bluetooth ok
My 11.10 install was fine but I screwed it by re running a newer post-install
This "just works" and I'm happy :D

I figured out what my suspend issue was... It wouldn't suspend whenever I had a filesystem mounted. I had a filesystem mounted as sshfs and whenever I do, it would not suspend. Unmounting the filesystem would allow it to suspend properly.

Good to hear! I've been putting off replacing OS X on mine for a while, as I hacked it enough to make it usable, but lately I've been wondering about exactly that - 12.04 and how it'd fare out-of-the-box. I'm sick of the horrible hardware support on Mac OS X. Every little update breaks something and you have to get drivers from somewhere and hope they work. Currently, I cannot get either my 100 Mbit or 1 Gbit USB ethernet dongles to work - both of which work OOTB in Linux.
I miss my Linux on this baby. Looking forward to 12.04. I think that'll be my first try :)

Have you tried three finger drag??? :D
I loaded a live install for a quick look and found out that touchpad support is quite good, especially in comparison with 11.10!
Nice to see that probably nothing needs patching with the next release!

New updated driver magic!
Two-finger scrolling can be enabled in the mouse properties in the tab touchpad.
