Hello agklimit;
As you know, help is what we do :)
- just ask away -
Thanks!
I have no idea about what kind of system can run Ubuntu.:confused: If I have a personal computer, what kind of steps should I do when I'm hoping to learn code as a green hand.
I've been using Ubuntu since 8.10, and I came here a bunch when I first started out (older account) to fix various problems I had, and then started being able to help people myself! Now I'm a PHP developer, and luckily allowed to use Ubuntu MATE 18.04 on my work machine, while being surrounded by Windows 7 and 10 machines.
Hi,
Just built my first Ubuntu computer with a Lenovo X230. Looking forward to learning more with the group.
Tip for Lenovo X230 noobs:
Make sure the airplane mode button is not enabled before an install or you will be wondering why you get errors on your install.
Hi, doughnutspaghetti,
and welcome to the forums!
Not a support request. Thread moved to the Cafe.
Hello guys.
I can't say I'm new, because I've been following the community from afar for years. I had my first attempt with 7.10. Now I'm older and came back with supported hardware (A Thinkpad). Thanks for always being here.
