Intel HD 4000 (Ivy Bridge) Drivers Ubuntu 12.10
Hi,
I am new to linux and Ubuntu, actually this is my first time using Ubuntu. I Installed Ubuntu 12.10 (x64) on my machine a Samsung series 3 with a core i5 3210m. The only video card is the integrated Intel GPU (HD 4000).
The system is running fine but in the system information the graphics unity is unknow and I can't get many options on my display settings as well.
Does anyone who has a ivy bridge graphic card was able to install the drivers to let Ubuntu recognize the video card?
Does anyone can help me to get this work?
Many thanks in advance!

Your HD 4000 is working fine, if you want to see the details in sysinfo, install "intel-gpu-tools" in software manager.
In my Linux Mint it shows "OpenGL, Tungsten Graphics, Inc. MESA DRI Intel Ivybridge Desktop 3.0 Mesa 8.0.4

Intel drivers are already built into the kernel.
