OK. I'll comply. This tutorial will remain online along side AptOnCD. It seems there are those who prefer the command-line to graphic tools. I suppose this is the case, seeing how Linux's origins are firmly rooted in the CLI.
I am open to suggestions and tips to improve the tutorial. In no way do I think it's perfect. I always return to it to tweak it here and there. Feel free to point out the imperfections.
Thanks to all who've made this my favorite HowTo.

These instructions appear clear and easy to follow. However, when I got to step 3 I got the following.

Yes. I know exactly what went wrong.
"'I' before 'E' except after 'C'.... and in the word feisty".
And... it's not your fault. I just checked the tutorial and found I misspelled it everywhere! Change the spelling and you'll be fine.
Re: How To: Make Your Own Ubuntu Repository DVDs
Every thing is progressing well now. Thanks for catching my error.
Re: How To: Make Your Own Ubuntu Repository DVDs
oops! everything not ¨every thing¨. My spelling and grammar skill leave a lot to be desired.

Well. I did a search of the tutorial and found that every instance of "Feisty" was misspelled "Fiesty". It's a bad habit I have. Feisty is one of those spelling exceptions that throws me just about every time. So if you highlighted my own text and pasted it into the command... well, technically: I'm at fault.
Soooooo, we'll let it slide. *blush*

Parse Packages and Sources files and add to the file list everything therein.
Download all files that we need to get (38 MiB).
Downloaded 38 MiB in 173s at 219.86 kiB/s
Everything OK. Moving meta files.
Cleanup mirror.
All done.

There's are no deb file in those directories .. anyone could help ?
Thx
Re: How To: Make Your Own Ubuntu Repository DVDs
I am also running a script (found here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Debmirror )
I've documented it on the following forum post (both code and results)
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=3613689

Okay.
My kind friend, the GoogleNinja, did his usual bit of fancy keyboard work and managed to get an answer or two.
It would appear this is a problem with Gutsy Gibbon alone. The problem is with libcompress-zlib-perl (as appears in this post.) This is a known bug. And it is inherited from grandpa Debian. A warning has been posted at the head of the tutorial.
It would appear, from these posts, that libcompress-zlib-perl_2.005-2 would be the solution.
And where exactly do we find this? Well, verify with Synaptic or Apt-Get. Or wait until the update trickles down from Debian to Ubuntu. Its severity is listed as grave in the Debian report. So this may require a bit of patience on our part.

Edit: Well. At the time I saw your post, hobong, I was working in Windows XP & Mac OS. Now I'm back in Feisty. I gave the code a whirl:
(debmirror --nosource -m --passive --host=archive.ubuntu.com --root=ubuntu/ --method=ftp --progress --dist=gutsy,gutsy-security,gutsy-updates,gutsy-backports --section=main,restricted,universe,multiverse --arch=i386 UbuntuRepos/ --ignore-release-gpg)
And it's working 100% -- and I'm downloading Gutsy's repositories like there's no tomorrow.
It is confirmed: this problem is related to Gutsy Gibbon alone. I was unaware of the problem. Had I known I would have posted the warning earlier.
[Note] For those reading through this thread, this should no longer be a problem. The source file has been repaired and is now in the repositories as an update. This post remains for historical reasons.
Re: How To: Make Your Own Ubuntu Repository DVDs
I need to be sure.
can i now make the gutsy repo DVD?
I ran this: (debmirror --nosource -m --passive --host=archive.ubuntu.com --root=ubuntu/ --method=ftp --progress --dist=gutsy,gutsy-security,gutsy-updates,gutsy-backports --section=main,restricted,universe,multiverse --arch=i386 UbuntuRepos/ --ignore-release-gpg)
and what I get looks similar to what hobong got. But i have hash(#) instead of ok
