wfgJeru, I followed the instructions, but the game didn't compile on my crappy lappy. Once I get my desktop running again (electrical short ate my video card), I'll try again.

Just building right now.
What architectures/platforms do you intend to support? (I have a FreeBSD install kicking around).

Hi, I would like to join you in this great effort. But i don't know whether i would be useful to you. I am just a doing my bachelor degree in computer applications. I have not worked with such a great project before. I am very interested in programing. I have got good logics in programming. I am good in c and c++. I too have good experience as a gamer. I like to play computer games. I have completed many well known games in a very short times without using the help of any cheats or walkthroughs.
I don't know how helpful i will be. But if you give me a chance i may be able to contribute something to this ever appreciable work.
wish you all the best. Let this effort may be a great success.
akku0503, you are very welcome to apply. You will hardly be the only contributor who has applied during a bachelor's degree or even beforehand.
Please read what openings we have and submit an application. It sounds to me that you could easily contribute to the game's graphics, gameplay etc.!
ibuclaw, our programmers tell me we're aiming to work on Windows (x86 32-bit), Linux (x86 and amd64) and OS X (x86). We feel supporting other architectures is possible but isn't worth the effort, but we don't object to people writing patches to that end.
Hey guys, just a small heads up:
Web Developer - We are about to redesign the 0 A.D. website, and to make this come true we need a skilled web developer. A good understanding of (X)HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL is required and knowledge of the IPB SDK is needed to complete the project. If you have good skills in PHP/MySQL you can probably learn the latter pretty easily, so don't avoid sending in your application if you don't fell like you have good enough knowledge of IPB, though that is of course a big plus. Knowledge of Javascript and especially jQuery is also needed, though you don't need to be an expert since it will just be needed for simple things.
If anybody is interested, they're welcome to apply according to these instructions.
Is it supposed to be like age of empires?
Yes, but it is in 3d and has extra features that Age of Empires did not have, like more accurate naval warfare. You can read more about that on our website: http://www.wildfiregames.com/0ad/
If you're interested in contributing to 0 A.D., a pre-alpha version is now available for download for you to install easily.
Hi, since you went to the trouble of making a debian file, for a prealpha i can see that you guys want this to take off very much. So i can give you my time as a bug tester. I do quite a bit with php projects, if you give me a task and an area i can find as many bugs as i can in about 2-3 days.
