Camcorder to USB video capture

Good day:
A year ago I started to move all my home PC operations from Windows to Ubuntu on a dual boot Compaq laptop. I am almost ready to give up Windows and I need to transfer one more function to Ubuntu to accomplish this.

I use a Sabrent USB stick with A/V input and USB output. I have done an amount of search to see if any of the USB sticks I use have linux drivers, nothing found so far.

I also use a "LinkStyle" USB stick and it works quite well on Windows.

Are there any Linux drivers for these devices?
