We are in the process of migrating the request mechanism over to Launchpad so we can have better integration with the Ubuntu developers.
Please be patient, as some new Launchpad infrastructure has to be implemented for this to work.
As a result, please stop requesting for a week or so, as the dust settles.

I'm hopefully going to be having a meeting at some point with one of the launchpad developers.... until then - please mail requests to ubuntu-backports@lists.ubuntu.com with a subject line starting with [REQUEST] (if you're not signed up a it'll nd dont use this tag in the subject, it'll get put on hold till I get round to accepting the email)
