Use HD icons on Google chrome web apps?
is there a way to make the icons from web apps a higher resolution. I tried to create a desktop web app, changed the icon to a different, HD one, and put it into a hidden folder and linked it to the launcher, Great. But when I launch the app it brings up a separate icon (low res) icon. its not much of a problem for most, but it does add to clutter when active, and I like a clean desktop.
Re: Use HD icons on Google chrome web apps?
Hi, which flavor of Ubuntu are you using? If it's Unity Ubuntu, do you mean that the launcher part of the desktop gets cluttered? Wouldn't that happen with a hi-res icon as well even if that's possible? I suspect that the icons are lo-res to keep the launcher responsive.

Never mind, I figured out the problem, was incorrectly doing the application short-cuts, It launches the "low res" version from the one I edited using the HD icon rather than editing the original to use HD icons.
