Interested in UCI/Irvine LUG/LoCo revival?

I'm a student at UCI. I see there used to be a UCI/Irvine LUG/LoCo. Just checking to see if there is any interest in reviving it again? Let me know what you think and perhaps we can get something going. Or if it does exist and is alive, perhaps I could be pointed to it? I look forward to hearing from folks!

I would be interested. My choices now are Pasadena or San diego. Irvine would be fairly close.
