Re: Ornery October Screenshots
I don't really change my desktop, unlike you guys, whose desktops change like within an hour (and still stays awesome :D) so here's my desktop from September:
* Theme: elementary at day, elementary dark at night.
* Icon theme: Faenza at day, Awoken at night.
* Wallpaper: Dawn of Ubuntu, which comes in 4 (5 if you count the user-submitted Sunset pic) pictures that changes with the time of day.

is there any ppa for oxygen-transparent in quantal or it is still necessary to patch and compile it by hand?

No ppa that I am aware of, but you can use a script to handle the installation for you.
Do
Code:
sudo apt-get install build-essential cmake libxrender-dev libx11-dev git kdelibs5-dev kdebase-workspace-dev
Then save scrpt from here in a directory and run with
Code:
sudo perl oxygen-setup.pl
