I'm trying to get the weather colors to match the, left black, right gray, thing but progress is slow. And I have no time.

From the readme in the tar.gz:
Read the bit about weatherget.Quote:
Rename .conkyrc_gmail to .conkyrc if you want to use gmail to monitor.
If you use Arch Linux, make sure you read the README.txt in the arch-updates folder.
You will need weatherget from http://developer.berlios.de/projects/weatherget/ or if you use Arch, get it at http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?K=weatherget.
You will also need to change $LOCATION in .conkyrc. Use http://xoap.weather.com/search/search?where=[yourcity] to find it.
Put .conkyweatherrc, gmail.py and conky-updates.pl (only for Arch Linux) in ~/scripts folder.
Don't worry about conky-updates.pl, it's only for Arch Linux users.
Ok, so I have conky installed and running. When I login, I can see it on my screen. As soon as my wallpaper comes up, it disappears. When I log out, I can see it again.
It seems to be behind the wallpaper... is this what is called the "flicker" problem?
Hi!
I found conky only yesterday, but I love it :)
Here is my config file and screenshots.
However I don't know why, but conky have transparent window only if I don't use own window.
If I use own window, it has a black bacground and isn't transparent...
Anybody knows/could help me why??

How do you add those transparent information to your desktop :-s
Type
into a terminal. ThenCode:sudo apt-get install conky
Paste one of the codes into it and save it. Then run.Code:sudo gedit ~/.conkyrc
You'll then have a running conky. It's up to you to customize it.Code:conky
