I don't think anyone here will tell you how to do that because it's foolish.

I agree with mike555. Yesterday I was trying to get past a boot process that stopped working just as the log in screen was about to appear. In my experiments I was able to get to a desktop running as root. I used it only to run an update and change video driver. I would not continue working as root even though I was not confident I could boot into this particular installation of Ubuntu when I rebooted.
Regards.
Yeah yeah, stupid idea, blah blah blah, i saw this nonsence on many forums, but no one could tell a serious reason why it is bad, just nonsence like "unsafe" or "accidently deleteting your system" :D Somehow milliards of windows users were ok with being masters of their systems for so many years and nothing happened, but linux users are so stupid, that they will destroy their systems, if you give them root acc :D You shouldnt worry about your system, root just gives you less headache in linux, i.e. not typing sudo and password millions of times everyday, and suddenly file explorer becomes usable :) But really, is there anyone smart enough to just tell me how to do it ?

Please take the risk of accidentally breaking your system seriously. For an example of what can go wrong, see http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1877557
