Re: PCSX2 0.9.3 Released for Linux!
Very cool.
At least I'll have the option of playing my games if my sis takes the ps2 to her dorm...

Re: PCSX2 0.9.3 Released for Linux!
I just want to know if I can play Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance with it. :D My brother has the game on his PS2 and it rocks, but of course I'd rather play it on my own PC rather than have to try and get some game time on his system.

Compiled fine and works fine, though I don't have any games atm to test it, I'll be back after I've borrowed FFX from my friend.

FFX runs very well, although it may be a bit slow unless your system is a beast. :)
I only got about 20fps or so >.<
Re: PCSX2 0.9.3 Released for Linux!
How did you install the Cg kit? I did
$> cd / && sudo tar xvf ~/Cg-1.5_x86_64.tar.gz
and things looked like they went in proper places.
$> ls /usr/include/Cg/
cg_bindlocations.h cg_enums.h cgGL.h cg.h
cg_datatypes.h cg_errors.h cgGL_profiles.h cg_profiles.h
But when I ran ./configure manually in pcsx2/plugins/gs/zerogs/opengl there's a line:
checking Cg... checking for main in -ljpeg... yes
which made me think that the Cg kit was not picked up by the configure script.
When I run pcsx2 without any disc in DVD drive, the screen is black. Is this normal?

I downloaded the rpm and used alien to install Cg
When you run pcsx2 without any disk in the drive, the BIOS should be run. If you've ever seen a PS2 operate without a disk in the drive, it makes kind of a cube thing with some lights revolving around it, then gives you some memory card options, etc. If you aren't seeing anything there may be a problem with your BIOS, or it may in fact be going so slowly you haven't seen any frames rendered yet. You DO in fact have a PS2 bios in your PCSX2ROOT/bin/bios directory, don't you?
Re: PCSX2 0.9.3 Released for Linux!
I installed Cg the same way and it worked. If pcsx2 were really not finding Cg includes it wouldn't compile. It would throw errors complaining about that. It seems that your problem has another cause.
Re: PCSX2 0.9.3 Released for Linux!
For some reason I cannot fix this problem. I put a ps2 disc in the drive and I click run cd and the a screen pops up then I get a segfault. I tried installing via svn and also the 0.9.3 release. Does anyone else get this?

Please post this in the Official Forums.
It's very likely the developers will ask you to compile a debug version and use gdb to do a backtrace on the fault.

Actually, someone with a very similar bug just posted a trace on the forums. Apparently the program was attempting to draw ARB visuals without asking the card if it supported it. The current SVN should fix this.
