How do I change the FLAC compression level in Ubuntu?
I play my music/sync my devices with Banshee. I am thinking about buying a secondhand Toshiba Gigabeat F20 in order to upgrade my music collection to FLAC. Before I re-rip my music, I am conserned that I will not get the maximum quality with FLAC unless I use the least compression. How do I do that, and are there any changes(file size, etc) or advantages?

FLAC uses lossless compression, so the compression level has nothing to do with sound quality.
