Background settings Gnome-shell RR.
Some problem with screen space when I went fullscreen on Background settings.
Code:
gnome-shell --version;dpkg -l | grep gnome-control-center
GNOME Shell 3.6.2
ii gnome-control-center 1:3.6.3-0ubuntu6 i386 utilities to configure the GNOME desktop
ii gnome-control-center-data 1:3.6.3-0ubuntu6 all configuration applets for GNOME - data files
ii gnome-control-center-signon 0.1.1-0ubuntu1 i386 GNOME Control Center extension for single signon
ii gnome-control-center-unity 1.0-0ubuntu1 i386 change the settings of the Unity desktop
ii libgnome-control-center1 1:3.6.3-0ubuntu6 i386 utilities to configure the GNOME desktop
I have to use Alt to drag it down and cannot resize the window. Here how it looks on my netbook 1024x600:
Re: Background settings Gnome-shell RR.
I confirm the problem in my netbook. You’d think that these dumbed-down GNOME UIs are suitable for small screens, don’t ya?
Re: Background settings Gnome-shell RR.
Damn, I thought i cannot change my wallpaper and i can only use wallpaper that comes pre-installed in Ubuntu!(Hmm, beautiful big thumbnails :P) But wait a minute...if I press this Alt key, can i move it? Yes, you can! Oh, it's hidden now! Brilliant GNOME! Oh, hold on a sec...I'm using a netbook 1024x600(sigh).

You are not using Ubuntu gnome-shell 3.6 on a netbook, don't you? :-k
Yeah, netbook? Who's using them? It's rubbish! But i want to see ubuntu 13.04 performance on this low-end machines! I'm sure unity and gnome-shell will be lightning fast on your i7 machines.
Re: Background settings Gnome-shell RR.
Could someone please report a bug for this issue? It should be forwarded to bugzilla.gnome.org too.
Are any other Settings panels broken with a low resolution screen?

i stop installing ubuntu on netbooks and low end laptops a long time ago, since 12.04.Ubuntu has become a hog! It's more power hungry than Vista right now. I definetely will not install ubuntu on low performance machines,it's a waste of time.

It’s funny, I have a LT20 netbook and Ubuntu performs excellent here.
