Please forgive the obvious question... but how do you make the cube round/cylindrical? Are we simply talking about having many sides more than four or is this another plugin/feature?
No if you use the compiz from GIT you have access to more plugins, one of these deforms the cube to either cylinder or sphere.
I have noticed a caps option in the deformation menu, but there is nothing to say what size or shape the cap image should be anybody got any help !!
