Suspend mode never turns off the screen

Hi, I have Xubuntu 18.04 and when I suspend the device, the light of the shutdown button flashes indicating that it entered into sleep mode correctly, but the screen never turns off, it goes black and shows every few seconds:

What happen here? It is assumed that the screen should turn off because the monitor goes to energy saving mode.

And finally, how can I find out what type of suspension my PC entered (s1, s2, etc)?.
