Grub resets to grub prompt
I have elementary OS and Windows 10 on dual boot. Grub was working fine after installation but after a while I started ending up with a blank screen with just the grub prompt instead of my usual boot choices.
Running boot-repair via a live USB stick ends up with "An error occurred during the repair" message. I have tried the following suggestion on the same boot-repair error message dialog "Please do not forget to make your BIOS boot on sdb1/EFI/ubuntu/shimx64.efi". I used bcdedit when in Windows command prompt as suggested. This still did not resolve the issue.
Here is the pastebin url from the BootInfo summary generated by boot-repair.

The output from `efibootmgr -v` is given below
BootCurrent: 0002
Timeout: 0 seconds
BootOrder: 0002,0000,0001,2001,2002,2003

Any help would be highly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance.
Re: Grub resets to grub prompt
Moved to Other OS since not Ubuntu.
Acer has required "trust". Did you enable that since entries are shown as Ubuntu, not unknown which is what Acer initially shows.
Acer Trust Settings - details, some now report that then secure boot has to be on to set trust:
