ubuntu+windows dual boot partition kechal

assalamualiekum, I am new to linux.I want to setup windows 7+ubuntu linux dual boot.I have 2 primary partitions and 1 extended partition on my windows setup.Now if I make 1 more primary partition for linux bootmgr installation,I cant make anymore partitions!So if I shrink my logical windows partions from the extended partion and create new partitions formatted in linux file systems,would I be able to install ubuntu in one of the new logical partitions?I mean will i be able to use the logical partitions of an extended partition for linux installation and other linux related stuff which already contains windows related logical partitions????
