Microdia MSI Starcam Racer. Mic not working.

Xubuntu 11.10
Kernel: 3.0.0-14-generic, i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux
Webcam: Microdia MSI Starcam Racer
(Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0c45:62e0 Microdia MSI Starcam Racer)
Motherboard: MS-7100
CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3500+

I have problems with the microphone of the above mentioned USB web camera. It is not working in Google Talk and Skype as well. The picture from the camera is working perfect. The same microphone worked fine with Ubuntu 10.04 LTS but it is not working in the Xubuntu 11.10.

Any solution?
