WiFi issue on Dell Inspiron 3593

I have looked at a lot of articles on this type of issue, but can not find any solution to my problem.

I have installed multiple OS's on a new Dell Inspiron 3593 laptop. WiFi is working perfectly good on all OS's (includind Ubuntu 18.04), but for some reason Ubuntu 14.04 does not recognise the WiFi. On another computer (also Dell Inspiron, but 3558) and also with Ubuntu 14.04 the WiFi is working good. Is there anything I can do to get the WiFi working on the Ubuntu 14.04 OS on the Dell 3593 computer please.

Why do you need Ubuntu 14.04? It has been unsupported for a year now

There are things I can do with Ubuntu 14.04 that I cannot do with 18.04.
