Application windows appear "unclickable" but actually just stop redrawing
I'm encountering an issue on Oneiric (running the classic Gnome profile plus Compiz) where all of my windows will randomly appear to become unresponsive to click events.
What actually happens is they register the clicks, and the applications respond, but the windows don't redraw. In order for the window to begin redrawing, I must minimize and then restore the window (at which point I'll see whatever mayhem my errant clicks have yielded).
This strange issue appears to affect Thunderbird, Chrome, and other applications.
Anyone else experiencing similar?
Hardware context: I'm running Ubuntu on an 8,3 Macbook Pro (ATI graphics).
