Should the Ubuntu forum be used for lubuntu queries or the https://discourse.lubuntu.me/ lubuntu site. Which is more authoratative?
I suggest using whichever you prefer.
(I'm a Lubuntu team member, who's listed as the "point of contact" to watch the Ubuntu forums. If it's very technical & Lubuntu specific you may get a better response from lubuntu.me as it'll likely be answered by a Lubuntu dev (not me), where as here you'll get it second hand through me possibly. Generic Ubuntu questions will probably get faster responses here. Note I'm not the only Lubuntu team member that use Ubuntu Forums, but most are not active users)
Thread moved to Ubuntu, Linux and OS Chat
I've always received excellent help here although input from different forums might offer more options to find a solution.
I wasn't aware that Lubuntu had it's own forum guess I'm out of touch.
Why limit yourself to just one anyway?
If you want to look at photos, one of which one will become the wallpaper for our upcoming Lubuntu 20.04 LTS release, it's best to be on the discourse.lubuntu.me site (ie. https://discourse.lubuntu.me/t/focal...ompetition/566). Yeah, you may have noticed that posted here too (https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2432447) but you need to go to the lubuntu.me site to view or submit entries.
We (Lubuntu) offer support via mailing list, ask ubuntu, telegram & matrix (linked with IRC), and of course IRC.
Some are listed at https://lubuntu.me/links/, but being an official flavor https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/community-support/709 applies anyway.
No your not out to lunch. I also did not know it existed that why I am concerned it may not be valid. thanks
