Language not changing properly

Hey i have ubuntu ultimate edition installed, which is just an ubuntu 10.10 distribution with extra programs and themes installed by default

But when i go to System > adminstration > language support and change from danis to english nothing but programs changing to danish happens..

The gnome menu is still in english.

I then went to System > Prefferences > system settings. > locale and set to danish there to. and default language to danish and applied system wide.

but the menu is still in english.

When i updated firefox to 7 i got this error in terminal.

"WARNING: System locale is invalid."

Someone please help me with solving this problem :)
