Hi - I'm hoping someone is going to tell me this is easy.....
I have a machine dual boting XP & a broken 6.1 Ubuntu install (8.1 upgrade went wrong)
Anyway I now have the 8.1 ISO on a FAT32 partition & I can boot from the Ubuntu 6.1 CD or to the broken 6.1 install.
So - my question is how do I install 8.1 from the FAT32 partition to replace the broken 6.1 install? (my CD burner is broken - I can't burn an 8.1 CD)
I'm happy to blow away the broken 6.1 Ubuntu install.
I'm a relative newcomer to Ubuntu so assume nothing!! :-)
Many Thanks for any help with this.
Mike
