View Full Version : Is gnome-blog alive?

December 1st, 2008, 06:46 PM

I've been interested in creating a blog for some time now, and was looking for a good gnome client to post entries to it. Most of the clients I've found are a bit over the top for me, and honestly a bit hard on the eyes. I did like one though, gnome-blog (http://www.gnome.org/~seth/gnome-blog/).

I like the fact that it sits on your panel waiting for you to write, and its simplicity doesn't hurt either. But I've had some problems with it not posting pictures or entry titles, and realised that the webpage hasn't been updated for years. I've also noticed that a tango icon was made (http://tango.freedesktop.org/index.php?title=Tango_Fridays&redirect=no) for it one year ago, and it does not use it.

So my question is, is the project dead or alive? Is there even a point in filing bugs?
