Dear Ubuntu's Forum

I want to install some software that only can run on Linux Environment. And it needs Xlib.h (and the others header file for X11) to install this software.

Where can I get the location of X11/include. Because, I'm only installing default Ubuntu 7.10..

Go to synaptic and download xorg-dev. If that doesnt work download more -dev packages

For most programs you don't need to compile from source, you can get it through one of the package managers.
