Hello,

So I have been using Ubuntu and am looking at using mythbuntu to replace media centre on my other PC. Anyhoo, I installed mythbuntu following the instructions here:

http://www.mythbuntu.org/existing-ubuntu

When I rebooted I had the mythbuntu login screen. I simply want to change back to the ubuntu login screen. So I tried checking the mythbuntu control centre (System --> Preferences --> Mythbuntu Control Centre) and there was an option to remove the artwork it had installed.

I did that, thought it would take care of it but now it just tells me that artwork is missing and brings me to some other login screen.

How do I get back to the Ubuntu original splash screen and login?

Thanks in advance.

try installing and using something called Startup Manager, you can find it in Add/Remove...
