can someone make a step by step guide to backporting? I would like to help but i have never made any packages before.
p.s. gaim 1.1.1 is out ;)

Actually, I take that back. No debianized GAIM 1.1.1 packages anywhere. I really want to wait for Sid packages, unless there's some fix specifically that you need.

Sin you're going to make a package of the new debian release, could you please add also the encryption plugin?

Thanks for replying.
Actually I solved it pretty quicky grabbing one of the packages compiled with gaim-encryption and extracting only the encryption plugins files.
I get a message saying that I might get errors but works great so far.
