I can leave my machine on weeks at a time and it won't get buggy, slow down or overheat.

We have many of these, but what's your simple reason/s ?

It's FOSS so I can get the latest version free + no antivirus ever needed + quicker support than other OSes

It does feel like home doesn't it ? Had to come here to relax, I'm fixing a vista laptop for a friend, keeps freezing up randomly on him, it my be a driver but then the idiot keeps holding down the power button to power off :)

I can use my computer without getting bluescreens while performing mundane computer tasks.I'm alot more confident as long as I don't have Windows running.

it takes 30 seconds to go from boot to opening firefox...it takes 5 minutes in windows

I a using Linux because of you!
