Hi,
is it possible to allow more disk space to users than the standard?

Thanks,

At install you can select a seperate partition for home. You can also create that after an install-it's a little more work then but doable.
The Ubuntu wiki has a how to on that here (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Partitioning/Home).

sorry phidia for not being clear. I didn't know the proper word for this.
I meant to give more disk quota to a user

When I create a new user, my system allocates 13G to this user. I was wondering if I could be allocated more than that, since my hard drive is big enough

As I said having a separate "/home" partition can accomplish that-see the link I inserted before.
