Ok, so I did what the Xubuntu website said to do to switch from Ubuntu to Xubuntu:

1. Open Synaptic Package Manager
2. Search for "xubuntu-desktop"
3. Mark "xubuntu-desktop" for installation
4. Click apply
5. Log out
6. In the log-in screen, click Options > Select Session > Xfce > Change Session
7. Login

First of all, there were bugs. It seemed like Ubuntu was behind Xubuntu, and they were colliding. I switched back to Ubuntu, but it took up 256MB of space that I have not been able to get back.
I tried uninstalling completely on Synaptic Package Manager, but all the files were still on my computer. When I tried to delete the files (including AbiWord and all the things that come with Xubuntu) manually, it first said that I couldn't move them to the trash, I had to delete them permanently, and then it said I couldn't delete them at all.

Does anyone know how to delete these files?
