I finally tried Linux.
The Ubuntu install went ok, the only hitch being that Ubuntu doesn't like hidden SSIDs.

Being a network engineer, I run into a lot of linux people who say it is easy to install apps.
Using online stuff and a friend I have spent 4 hours trying to get any authentication done with freeradius. Nothing has worked.
I can't find a way of getting a radius server to function. A simple way would also be nice.
Online, most of the commands people list don't work. (like radiusd -x)

Givens:
8.10 install
Updated today.

List in the least number of steps how to get even a LOCAL user to test OK.
