I've seen many post on how difficult it is to manage and setup a linksys card. Out of the many attempts to set it up myself, I give up.
Out of curiosity, which network card is the best and easiest to setup?

You'll get a pile of answers on this. My suggestion is to look at your wireless router brand. Do you like it? I like my Linksys, and it's fairly old by equipment standards. It dates back 3 1/2 years.
Right now, I use the wireless card in my Thinkpad T61p; it is built in. However, I have a Linksys card, which, being newer than the router, is backwards compatible with the router, but also supports additional network protocols.
My other system, a Windows XP, uses a USB Linksys wireless device that came with the router and modem on a special equipment deal from Verizon.
