I need to know where to get a Linux verison of the driver for my card, or how I can make it work. because right now my laptop has it's resolution set to 800 x 600 when it should be 1440 x 900. I'd really enjoy changing it...

And being able to configure my dual monitor display.

Okay, I got some sort of drive from the NVIDIA site, but it says I can't open it, I tried typing into terminal what NVIDIA says (sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-177.82-pkg2.run) and it said sh: Can't open NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-177.82-pkg2.run. I tried running it from root as well.

Any idea what I need to do?

I was actually able to get everything working without doing that. I installed the packages Synaptic had and then enabled my restricted drivers.

Thanks for replying though.
