What did Linux users use before Firefox?

I've used Firefox since Phoenix and Linux since Firefox 1.0.

So what did Linux users use before Firefox?

well, the original browsers that brought Internet to the public (IMO) is Netscape and IE, so...

Opera's Linux version is pretty young so definitely not Opera. And Mozilla is after-Netscape. So maybe Konquerer?

I think Netscape was the early browser for linux and there where a couple unfinished browser project.

The first gui browser I used on Linux was Netscape on SuSE 5.2 about 10 years ago. Lynx was the first browser I used period.

When I started using Linux in Dec 2003 I used Mozilla Internet suite. Worked fine but switched over to Firefox when it showed up.

Not Linux, but I used to have to use Sun Unix 14 years ago. We used Netscape.

Back then there really wasn't any CSS/JS going on, so it wasn't too bad.
I didn't use a computer before Firefox, but I imagine people used Netscape, a CLI broser (lynx, links2, etc.) and Konqueror.

I used Internet Explorer before I switched to Firefox. Needless to say, I hadn't started with Linux yet.
