View Full Version : [ubuntu] how can I install the driver for ati x1950 video card ?

hi everyone
my video card(ati x1950) is hot under ubuntu when i active ati/amd proprietary FGLX graphic driver or through EnvyNG

so now i want to install it by myself

i went to http://ati.amd.com/support/drivers/linux64/linux64-radeon.html
and downloaded that driver
and followed the instruction https://a248.e.akamai.net/f/674/9206/0/www2.ati.com/drivers/linux/linux_cat811-inst.pdf

and then i get the result in the picture

what should i do now ?
when i run ati control center or whatever it says ... picture 2.
