Hello all,

I am pretty much experienced with RedHat/Fedora and I do lots of java development with my Fedora Core 4 notebook where I have Eclipse and Java JVM from SUN which I built the RPMs myself with the jpackage process. I would like to make the switch to Ubuntu but I would like to know if there is any JAVA/Ubuntu howto so that I can properly install the JVM, configure the CLASSPATH, have tomcat installed, struts, the works.

Can anyone show me the map to the mine here?

Thanks,
Scheidecker.

This page (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/RestrictedFormats#head-e2ebd70ede0e3eb2117ffbd618d2295dd1540dca) on the Ubuntu Wiki tells how to package and install Sun's Java for Breezy. I haven't used Tomcat or Struts, so I can't help there.
