I've been able to install the driver from the CD, and seemed to work to some extent. I could see some of my university networks but kept getting refused from logging in, but other than there I haven't been able to see any other networks.

tried lots of threads but nothings got me working yet.

I have one working it comes up as a zd1211rw 5-3:1.0: eth1.

I went to a buddy's house who had one and it was a older chip set but looked the same and it worked (I forgot mine at home )

the problem I have with mine is my speed is only posting at 24Mb with his it was 5Mb

If I remember right under Ubuntu they don't like wpa

I think wep worked, but I set my router up to only allow mac addresses to connect. since both wep and wpa only just give a reason for a "cracker" to pay you a visit
