when will kde 4.2 beta be backported?

Hi there guys.

I saw somewhere that kde 4.2 beta was going to get backported to intrepid. Just wondering if anyone had any idea when this might be.

I have tried openSuse's kde 4.2 on vmware but find the openSuse repos to be a little strange. e.g the kernel headers didn't match the kernel so I couldn't compile something (can't remember what it was now though) which seems non-sensical to me.

I have also tried the project neon repos but that had problems in that the whole applications part of the menu was missing.

Any way, Does no-one know when this is likely to happen?
