Well here is the story, I bought a top of the line PC (close to it anyway) Fedora 10 wont boot and Ubuntu Live CD wont boot. So I tried out the Ubuntu alternate install. Worked freakin great!... but then my USB mouse will randomly give out, and my keyboard will flip out at times. Like I'll be typing and then while typing it will repeat 1 letter several times
Example:

Hello John, I waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aa

the letter a will keep being repeated until a shutdown. :S
Sound works every once in a while. About ever 3 boots. I have a Realtek onboard sound card. Its compatible with Linux. I know that much. I have the same sound card on my lappy and it works fine there. So what is going on? Any ideas at all? I have tried more than 10 distros on this desktop. No dice.

KEYBOARD: Saitek Eclipse Keyboard (couldn't find their website)

New Kernel update has fixed the problems. :)

Wow, so everything works now? That's great to hear. What distro and what version of kernel did you need to get it work?
