View Full Version : [ubuntu] intrepid - wireless slow to re-establish after suspend wake

I have a Dell Mini 9 that I flattened and put the regular Intrepid 8.10 release on. It's running great and I love it. One thing I noticed though is that when it wakes up from suspend, the wireless is slow to re-establish the connection. It always works, it's just slow to come back up. I'm used to my MacBook and Windows machines having the wireless come right back... My mini's taking about 15 seconds or so.

It's no big deal, just want to know if this is expected behavior.

I'm running the Broadcomm STA driver (which the OS auto-suggested). My wireless is an Apple AirPort Extreme base station (the UFO looking one) running 802.11g and WPA2 personal enterprise.
