I have Ubuntu 8.10 on a box that I administer remotely using remote desktop and tightvnc viewer on a windows XP box.
I cannot switch users because it requires a password entered in the Ubuntu box, which I would like to keep without a keyboard and screen. Is there any way I can enter that remotely. Also I have enabled automatic login but this seems like a security risk is there any way to enter my username and password on the remote box to log in?
