Running Intrepid 8.10 with latest updates. This install has evolved from a beta version.
When starting up computer into Ubuntu the desktop icons do not display. All tool bar icons are visible and working. If I log out and back in, the icons appear. This is happening with desktop and laptop (specs in signature). The laptop was a fresh install of 8.10.
The login is set for Xclient. See screenshots attached. If I change to Gnome I have the same problem.
Any ideas? Is this a bug?
