The idea of this thread comes from another one:

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=991764

And Dragonbite came up with the idea as follow:

I like that answer, "throw in your hat.."

We need to set up a page where we can put down good answers for the recurring questions/statements. That way is sounds clearer and more impressive than "um.. well.. uh... you see... like..." (etc.)

This thread is about finding really good answers to people asking questions about linux.

To participate, write the question(s) you face and the clever answer you like to reply back.

now that chucky said, you really mean "questioning linux" and not "asking about linux"?

Q: "Is it hard to use?"

A: "It's as hard as you want it to be. If you just want to browse websites, send e-mails and watch videos, no, it's easy as pie, and Linux doesn't ask you to do anything more. On the other hand, if you decide to hack and modify and chop and change, you have the freedom to do that too."
