I installed the 8.10 edition through the packagemanager [alt+F2 then update-manager-d] and for some reason i ran the same command a few days ago and noticed an new version being available. As much of a beginner as i am in linux, i installed it, but it seems that "Vim-Runtime" can't install through the updatemanager.
Instead i constantly get the following error
E: /var/cache/apt/archives/vim-runtime_2%3a7.2.025-2ubuntu1_all.deb: underprocess pre-installation script gav felkod 2
I'm running swedish language on xubuntu and a rough translation after adress is "Pre-installation script produced error code 2".
The version i'm attempting to install, or packagemanager, is "
Version 2:7.2.025-2ubuntu1". How important is this package? Is it worth fiddling about with, or should i just ignore it?
kindest regards,
the linux n00b way in over his head...
