[SOLVED] HP mininote 2133

im trying to install Ubuntu 8.10 on my HP 2133, i have minbuntu 8.04 on it know but can get the new version if it to work so i tried just Ubuntu 8.10, but nothing just a black screen after the load up bar, i found this page to help me install it https://wiki.edubuntu.org/LaptopTestingTeam/HP2133 it says to hit F6 and type live xforcevesa and then hit enter but that didn't work just the same problem can someone PLEASE HELP, i want to update my computer but cant :(

i updated my bios and still didnt work :( first i get the loading bar, then a migration of colored numbers and letter going up the screen, then a blank screen.

firecad2006, download the ISO from my signature...

there's details and directions there if the BIOS flash did not help.

thank you, thank you luvit for your help it worked im using it right now, had to boot in safe mode. :)
